The Move to the Digital Era

At some point in time, man decided it was important to leave his mark to preserve his existence.  Drawings in cave dwellings from 40,000 years ago are a simple example of that mark; just hands on a cave wall that show "someone" was there. As time passed, the marks became more sophisticated as those early artists drew animals and hunting scenes to show the future what they did to survive.

It is a big jump from cave drawings to the written word thousands of years later, but even now, thousands of years after the beginning of the written word, man is still trying to preserve his existence.  Fortunately, we can now do it electronically to save our histories for future generations to enjoy.
